Halloween Eve

Nothing spooky about this little one! Nico's daycare is celebrating the holiday, but Nico wanted to save his costume for the real day. He is just as happy to be sportin' his ghost bib. Spooktacular baby!!

Party Time

Today Nico went to Toby's second birthday party. He had a great time. He was the only crawler there but it didn't stop him from having a blast. Yeah, he probably would have had a better time if he could have had some birthday cake but he did get to try the smallest piece of pizza ever so it wasn't all bad. He even got to see his buddy Parker. Parker's party is the next one on Nico's social calendar. It was good to see him and see his new walking moves. These boys are growing up too fast. I don't think a year has ever passed as quickly as this past year has flown.

11 months!

Oh no! Nico is 11 months!! He is growing, growing, growing and I am loving every minute of it. He is so busy, I am having a tough time getting everything out of his way. He spends all of his waking time crawling away, standing up or scooting along. No, he is not walking yet. He has taken a few steps and he will scoot along but so far he is not walking, phew. I am not ready for that one.

He is such a sponge! Today D was snapping his fingers and N saw him and he was trying to snap his too. Too cute! I am going to try and get that one on video. It is hard to take his picture or video him because he is always reaching and squirming.

Day care is still going well. N really loves his teachers. He is always smiling or laughing when I come to pick him up and he has no problems leaving me in the morning. I couldn't be more pleased.

Loving Nico has consumed my world. I have a hard time believing that he has only been here 11 short months because he has changed me in so many ways.

Nico has had a rough little week. His tummy has been a bit upset and Momma has taken him to the doctor twice. Yeah, you can never be too sure. Luckily he is a trooper and he really only had one yucky day. I am so happy to have a healthy boy...my perfect 10!!

In the park

On Sunday, N and I had a grand ole time at the park watching the big kids play. N did get to go down the slide a couple of times before some of the rowdy rowdies tried to commandeer the baby slide. The weather will probably only be good for a few more weeks so N and I are going to try to get to the park as much as possible before we have to hibernate :0

This little busy boy is getting into everything! He will only slow down to laugh at us because we are chasing after him. I can't believe people want their kids to walk... I am so very afraid!!!

Add this to the things my baby has mastered....he knows where the nose is! You can say, "Where's Momma's nose?" and he knows. He can point to it. He is brilliant!!!
