Coati, really

Nico came stomping into my room wearing my fuzzy shoes saying he was  coati. Thank gosh for google. I can't keep up with him. He proceeded to explain to me all about them. Went to his room and grabbed a book that featured a coati and schooled me. I may have to do some research :P

oh my...he just came and snuggled up next to me and said, "Mommy, I am so glad you are here." ...my heart, my heart

Jolting, Very Jolting

We love our weekends. Who doesn't?  Here is a peak at our day.
There was a little 'ole moose for lunch. A walk in the neighborhood. Looks like a bunch of cherry blossoms have already bit the dust. Fun times. Fun times!

I am the toughest!

Nico told me this as we were heading off to the dentist to have his injured tooth extracted. He is often the "est" in situations. I love this about him. He was the toughest and his momma is in awe of just how tough he is. He was pretty excited about not having a tooth like his big cousin Marley. He has the tooth fairy thing all worked out too....he has requested cookies under his pillow. I guess the lost tooth was not the sweet tooth, huh?! I am trying to get used to his new smile. Just know he is still the handsomest little man I know :)

One month

Having a strong willed, busy, busy, busy little boy makes one month fly by with absolutely no blogging. Bad Mommy! But I will say that just because I haven't been blogging doesn't mean that we have not been busy we have had a ball this past month. Nico has had a full social calendar that has included a couple of parties, a movie date to see the Lorax with his Auntie, a bunch of meals out, a visit to the MLK memorial and well, gee isn't that enough? He is still up to the usual stuff saying amazing things, giving abundant hugs and flipping off the bed at least once.
