Hard at work

Today N did a little activity that I found on a preschool blog and it was definitely a case of gee I so could have thought of that. But alas I didn't. It was simply threading felt squares on a ribbon that has a button on one end. N was really challenged and he had to work very intently to get it done. He was frustrated at first but once he figured it out he was so thrilled with himself. I love when he gets that look on his face. And yes, I had to string them a few times too. N thought it was only fair. Tomorrow I am going to have him lace them following pattern cards. I hope he likes them too.

first day

today N headed back to reality....preschool. he was so excited to go and see his friends. i overheard him singing the good morning song and including all of his friends- you know i melted. he is the best. and he received a glowing report from his teacher. did i really have anything to do with making such an amazing little fellow? pinch me, i must be dreaming!

Busy Busy Summer!

Nico has been on the go all summer long. I have so many things to blog about...as I must document all of his adventures. Unfortunately today won't be the day to get it all down. I can give you this photo to get you through the blog absence :P

Marley and Nico enjoyed painting their pottery. They also enjoyed downing their smoothies!!

Fun in the Sun

Nico and Marley are some of the happiest little people I know. They relish every moment of every single day. We could all learn a lot from these little ones. While in California we enjoyed some beach time. It was so beautiful. Nico was hesitant to put his feet in the water but once Marley led the way, he was all in. The water was so cold! He was equally interested in dipping his toes and in throwing the sand....boys!
