He Survived!

The daycare debacle and the arrival of his first tooth.

9 Months

Nico is 9 months old so that means he has spent about the same amount of time in this world as he spent in the womb. Isn't that interesting. I look at him and love seeing his personality develop more and more. Lately he has become super attatched to me and it is different but I know it won't be long before he leaves me in his dust and he wants to hang with his daddy. I love his little face and smile. How he waves at me and lights up when I call his name. This is the best love ever!!

He had a drs appointment today and my little one is not so little anymore. He weighs 18lbs and he is 29 inches long. 11lbs and 9 inches bigger than when he got here!! The best part about the visit was that he didn't have any shots :) The dr gave him the go ahead to eat meats, yikes he doesn't even have any teeth yet. Well wait a minute a little hint of a tooth is poking through his swollen gum. Yes, my little one is teething. Hope it is easy on him. He has enough going on right now. He starts daycare tomorrow. I doubt he will cry but me, I will be a blubbering mess!!!

(I didn't get to snap his picture today. We were so busy preparing for our big day but if he wakes up I will surely take one).

Vegas Baby!!!

Who thinks traveling on a 5hr flight with an 8 month old is a good idea? I don't mind it a bit because traveling with my sweet baby boy was a piece of cake.

Nico is finally back at home and he had a ball in Vegas. He loved hanging out with his cousins and following behind Miss M made him even faster! He didn't melt in the sun although it did drain all of his energy on more than one occassion. N went swimming, shopping, visiting and stole a bunch of kisses. He even learned how to go up the stairs to my dismay. These little legs are getting stronger.

A big highlight of our trip was taking N to see a little bit of boxing. We got to go see Shaq take on Oscar DeLaHoya for Shaq's reality show. It was a blast. I am waiting for K to send me the pictures. Trust me, he enjoyed himself and stayed up way past his bedtime to take in the taping. Check out Monday's Shaq vs. Show and look for us in the audience.

First Night Out

Nico spent last night at his Auntie's house. He was such a good baby and she says he was no problem at all. It was so strange not having him at home but it did give Momma and Daddy a chance to get out. His Auntie got a little less sleep but N sleep well and enjoyed his stay. He sat on the porch and waved at the neighbors he even clapped for the first time. He was a little city boy but we are glad he is back home with us in the burbs :p

My baby is so BIG!!

Eight months and he is getting so big!! He is so strong and mobile. He is on the go and taking all kinds of risks. I love this stage so much. His little personality is developing and he is so much fun. He is the best baby ever! How did I get so lucky?

Florida agrees with Nico

Nico had a great time in Florida. We were very busy. He met even more relatives and charmed every last one of them. How could he not? He was busy crawling around his grandparents house and pulling up on every thing that he could find. He seemed to enjoy lounging in the pool and wasthe coolest thing in the Sunshine State!!!
