You can't keep a good lil man down!

Nico is feeling better! YAY!! He is up on his feet and demanding the same of me,"get up, Mommy". He woke me up to requests for yogurt and blackberries so I guess his appetite is back :) Up bright and early we played and played and laughed and laughed. It was great. His little eyes are looking bright and he is smiling up a storm! I won't lie when he was down and put it was really tough on me but he is back in good spirits and I am so pleased.He reports back to the dr on Tuesday and I hope he will be given the all clear.

And on to the good stuff, pictures of our little Superman! Thanks for the pjs Auntie Jamie! He even knew how to fly instantly. Is that a boy thing ?

Sick Baby

My sweet, sweet baby is not feeling well. Ugh! The doctors appointment revealed sinus infection and a stomach bug. He is on antibiotics for the sinus infection. He also is very congested so we have been doing nebulizer treatments. Last night was better than the night before; he didn't sound like a whistling train with each breath. He still is not eating much. He was able to keep some rice down last night so I am pleased. I am hoping that with some more tlc he will be up on his feet tomorrow. Momma does not like to have a pitiful little one. I am enjoying the extra cuddles, we were even sportin' the carrier when we ran to the dr. He is a cuddle bug!

He is getting so big!

Nico went to hang out with my sister and her family this weekend. I know he had a ball, he did not even want to talk to me when I called :( My sister had a few friends in town so N got to hang out with some other little folks. There was one little one who was only one so N was towering over him. It is amazing how different 1 and 2 are from each other. He came back seeming even bigger than when we left him. He was even wondering around saying, "Who goes there?"!!! Too funny. He already has plans to hang out next weekend. His social calendar is much fuller than mine :P

Nico's Tuesday

1. 2nd dentist visit- teeth look great, he was miserable for the 8 seconds it took her to examine his teeth, crying miserable

2. no room for dinner but plenty of space for 3 granola bars- he was just introduced to them today so no worries

3. he was dancing in the congo line at school- he loved it!

4. basketball playing with Daddy, Momma tried and missed to which N replied, "Let me show you"

5. loading up the tub with all of the bubble bath, ugh

happy groundhogs day

so the groundhog predicted an early spring. well n predicted that the groundhog would predict an early spring. he is a genius! at preschool n had to predict if the groundhog would see his shadow. they guessed and then made a graph. n's prediction was right :) we even watched the groundhog announcement on tv and he was so excited to see the groundhog.

i am so glad that he is learning so much. i love to see all the things that he is learning. he was identifying shapes and colors when i got there today. (picture this:circle time, n not sitting still but eagerly and correctly saying, "heart, red heart") swoon. that boy! he amazes me! it is easy work being his number one fan.
