Day One Down

When I went to pick up Nico this afternoon he was sleeping like a baby and in a crib no less. He was awesome. He ate his food and played. It was a good day. I think this daycare may really work. Yay! Momma doesn't have to quit her job :)

I love this boy!!

I mean what is not to love? He is so awesome! He is so fun! He is interested in everything. He won't stay still. You can always find him climbing on something... he is such a boy.

Double Digits....10 Months and 100th Post!!

Wow, big day in the blog sphere. Nico is 10 months! You guys can almost write this post. I can't believe it, I am going to cry blah blah blah. But for reals I am in shock. He is growing too fast!! Yes, I love each stage but wow where did my little wrinkly baby boy go? He is turning into this on the go, look back at my Momma and laugh sweetie. So at 10 months, Nico is:

• eating all kinds of foods...chunky stuff baby
• pulling up on everything
• crawling like speedy Gonzalez (that's for you M :P)
• increasing his vocabulary including bye-bye, Momma and Dada
• sleeping in unpredictable ways
• playing independently for longer stretches
• going in the opposite direction when I say, "come here"
• having long conversations with Grandpa
• serious about who he wants and doesn't want, he is known to turn away if he doesn't want you
• jamming to his music... loving the new B is for Bob cd!
  

Such a big baby boy. I am loving watching him grow and change and excel. I am one lucky Momma!!!

He loves books!

Yesterday when I got home from work, Nico was busy reading with Grammy. He was so into his books. Talking to the pages and watching Grammy as she read each page. He was all smiles and laughing that happy laugh. It was adorable. He didn't even come to me right away. He was too enthralled in his books. I love it!! Thanks Jill for the new book. I am sure it will be a hit!

I couldn't love this little boy more if I tried. He melts my heart every single day! He is getting so big and doing new things all the time. Unfortunately, he keeps me too busy to blog about all of the updates as the occur. I am trying though :) He is standing unassisted for longer and longer. Sometimes he even gets sporty and tries to turn and make a little movement. Is walking that far off? He is playing longer and longer and longer by himself in his playpen. He is blabbering up a storm... momma and dadda are my favs. He is just a happy camper and I watch him in awe and feel so blessed that he is mine :)
