N and I had an awesome time in Sunny South Florida, absolutely wonderful. Initially I was apprehensive about traveling alone with a three month old but I am so glad that I went. We had a blast and truthfully only the logistics of getting through the airport w/all of his stuff was the only issue. Everyone was super helpful and with the exception of one rude comment I don't have one single complaint.He slept on the plane or chatted me up... either one of these was ok with me.
During his stay, N got to meet my grand parents, some aunts and uncles and some of my long-time friends. It was a treat to be able to share him with such special people. Everyone enjoyed him, his dimpled smile and constant cooing kept everyone in good spirits.
My mom and I took him out for walks in the park in the sunshine and he seemed to take it all in stride (hey, I couldn't resist). We also took him to the beach. He loved being in the water. Is there anything cuter than baby toes in the sand? I think not!!
We are on countdown until we get to go again and if D is lucky we may take him with us next time!!
