not so bad. well i was totally dreading going to the drs today. n was having shots and d was working so he couldn't come with me. turned out that the visit wasn't so bad. first things first, the stats:
14lbs. 4 ozs.
25 1/4 inches.
dr. b said that he is doing great. he is growing just great, super strong and his communication skills are off the charts!! I couldn't have called it better myself. the dr was so impressed with him chatting,making expressions and turning his head to look at whoever is talking. he was really chatting her up too. i am glad she got to see all that before the shots.
n had to have 4 shots and 1 oral immunization. i had to give him the oral one. he wasn't bad with that one he spit a little bit out but he did better with that than he does with his vitamins. and then it was time for the shots. the nurse offered to hold him she said she remembered how i cried last time. but i held him and after some big screams and some tears- this time only from him- we were finished. it broke my heart but i did so much better than last time. he nursed afterwards and fell fast asleep.
the dr said that i can introduce rice cereal if i like but i am going to put it off for a bit. she supported my decision on that so that was good. all in all, it wasn't so bad. although having to park damn near four miles away from the drs office sucked.
and i must add that 6hrs later n is up and as busy as usual.
